ACR SATELLITE 2 406 EPIRB

– This EPIRB transmits on the frequency of the Cospas Sarsat programme: 406 MHz, the maritime mobile service identification, MMSI, or vessel’s distinctive coded signal; and on the frequency of 121.5 MHz, homing on SAR. As Cospas Sarsat satellites locate EPIRB, search and rescue forces, or SAR forces, proceed to search and locate the vessel.
– Approved for all types of vessels: merchant, fishing, and pleasure boats in any navigation zone.
